Best Books of 2009
The year is drawing to a close, and that means that the "Best Books" lists for 2009 are beginning to appear. The first one I've seen is from Publishers Weekly. Here's the link: http://www.publishersweekly.com/article/CA6704595.html
Freedom, by Jonathan Franzen The Good Son, by Craig Nova Save Me, by Lisa Scottoline Skippy Dies, by Paul Murray The Surgeon, by Tess Gerritsen The Girl in the Green Raincoat, by Laura Lippman The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, by Steig Larsson
I'm the grownup result of a childhood spent with my nose in a book. I can still hear my mother telling me to "put that book down and go outside to play." (She also drove me seven miles to the library every week to get my fix, though.) Today, I'm a librarian. (Go figure.) This is my spot to talk about books and reading and libraries. I hope you'll visit often!
